Three-injured in Benton County collision

A 12-year-old boy, Nathaniel Hampton, 21, and Janice Owens, 57, all of Cole Camp, suffered moderate injuries at 9:30 p.m. Saturday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Dodge Ram driven by Hampton south on Five Bridge Avenue failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center of the roadway and struck a 2013 Nissan Juke driven north by Hoehns.

Everyone was wearing a seatbelt. The 12-year-old boy and Hoehns were flown to University Hospital in Columbia by air ambulance, and Hampton was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance District.

Warrensburg man hurt in Johnson County rollover

Osamede D. Osagie, 27, of Warrensburg, suffered minor injuries at 4:11 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the driver lost control of a 2006 Ford Escape while traveling south on Northwest 121 Road. His vehicle traveled off the left side of the road, overturned, and struck a fence.

Osagi was transported to the Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.

Teen hurt in Moniteau County accident

A 16-year-old boy from Fortuna suffered minor injuries at 1:25 p.m. Saturday in a Moniteau County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the young man was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 south on Route E near Hazel Dell Road when he traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence.

He was not wearing a seat belt and was transported by Mid-MO Ambulance District to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

Sedalia teen hurt in Pettis County accident

A 17-year-old Sedalia girl suffered minor injuries at 1:20 p.m. Friday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the young woman was driving a 2006 Toyota Corolla west on Dove Road when she lost control of the vehicle. It slid off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.

She was wearing a seat belt and was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
