Sedalia man injured in car vs Caterpillar accident
Christopher Hellesvig, 54, of Sedalia, sustained moderate injuries at 11:48 p.m. Monday in a Pettis County accident.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hellesvig was driving a 1996 Toyota Corolla west at McVey Road and South Marshall Avenue when he topped a hill and struck a 2002 Caterpillar C9.3, which was stationary in the roadway.
Hellesvig was wearing a seat belt, and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance District.
