One injured in Johnson crash
A man was injured in a crash at 4:20 p.m. Thursday in Johnson County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Austin L. Schumacher, 25, of Holden, was driving westbound on state Route 58, .2 miles east of Southwest 1001st Road, when his vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch.
Schumacher suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
One injured in Pettis crash
A man was injured in a motorcycle crash at 10:19 p.m. Thursday in Pettis County.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Anthony A. Wilbern, 57, of Sedalia, was driving west on U.S. Route 50, east of East Prairie Grove Road, when a deer entered the roadway in front of him. His vehicle overturned after striking the deer, ejecting Wilbern.
Wilbern suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
