Sedalia woman injured in Benton pedestrian accident

Cora J. Comfort Miller, 29, of Sedalia, sustained moderate injuries at 8 p.m. Saturday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Miller was walking on Route C and was hit by an eastbound 2020 Chrysler Town & Country driven by Steven R. Rouchka, 73, of Sedalia. 

Miller was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance District. 

Two injured in Benton accident 

Kaitlyn C. Bonner, 27, of Warsaw, received moderate injuries and Harley D. Powers, 20, of Edwards, received serious injuries at 12:05 a.m. Sunday in a Benton County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 1994 GMC driven by Nathan D. Walters, 24, of Stover, was eastbound on Route BB at Woodland Road when it traveled off the roadway. The driver overcorrected and returned to the roadway. The vehicle then traveled off the roadway again and overturned. 

It is unknown if the driver was wearing a seat belt; the occupants were not.

Powers was transported by air ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia. Bonner refused treatment at the scene. 

Three Windsor teens seriously injured in Henry accident

A 15-year-old male, a 16-year-old female and a 16-year-old male, all of Windsor, sustained serious injuries at 4:50 p.m. Friday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the 16-year-old male driver was headed south on Route Y at County Road NE 400 in a 2006 GMC Sonoma when he traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting the occupants.

The 15-year-old boy was transported to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City by Golden Valley ambulance. The 16-year-old girl was transported by Golden Valley to Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence. The 15-year-old boy was transported to Children's Mercy Hospital by Life Flight air ambulance. No one was wearing a seat belt.

Two injured in Johnson accident 

Heather D. Poynter, 45, of Higginsville, and David H. Hill, 51, of Concordia, both sustained moderate injuries at 4:40 p.m. Saturday in a Johnson County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Hill was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Sonic south on Highway 13 when he crossed the centerline and struck a 2012 Toyota RAV4 driven north by Poynter. The Sonic overturned and came to rest in the roadway.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg by Johnson County Ambulance District. 

Three from Gravois Mills hurt in Morgan accident

Danielle A. Conversano, 35, and Lisa A. Hibdon, 54, both of Gravois Mills, sustained minor injuries and Michael A. Davis, 45, also of Gravois Mills, sustained moderate injuries at 7:35 a.m. Friday in the Morgan County accident. 

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Conversano south on Old Eight Road crossed the centerline and struck a northbound 2019 Cadillac STS driven by Hibdon. 

Conversano was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach by Lake West Ambulance District. Davis was not wearing a seat belt and was transported to University Hospital in Columbia by MU Air Care. Hibdon was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Lake Regional Hospital by private vehicle. 

Stover motorcyclist in serious condition after Morgan accident

Scott A. Gruber, 45, of Stover, sustained serious injuries at 7:25 p.m. Friday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Gruber was driving a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle west on Sawmill Road at Hillview Road when he crossed the centerline and struck a 2004 Chevrolet Envoy head-on.

He was wearing a helmet and was flown to University Hospital in Columbia by air ambulance.

Gravois Mills man arrested after Morgan accident

Lee R. Loman, 58, of Gravois Mills, was seriously injured at 11:17 p.m. Saturday in a Morgan County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Loman was driving a 2018 Ford F-150 south on Route V, north of Wildwood Drive, when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a rock embankment, went airborne, struck a tree and overturned.

It is unknown if Loman was wearing a seat belt. He was transported by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. 

Loman was arrested for felony aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving in a careless and imprudent manner involving an accident and was released for medical treatment. 

Marshall man hurt in Pettis accident

Richard A. Bennett, 43, of Marshall, sustained minor injuries at 12:01 a.m. Friday in a Pettis County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bennett was driving a 2012 Ford Focus south on U.S. Highway 65 at Angus Drive when he traveled off the road, into the median, and stopped in the northbound lanes.

It is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt. He was transported by Pettis County Ambulance District to Bothwell Regional Health Center.
