Two men injured in Henry accident

Zachary R. Williams, 22, of Deepwater, sustained moderate injuries, and Anthony E. Austin, 39, of  Clinton, sustained minor injuries at 8:05 p.m. Thursday in a Henry County accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Williams was driving a 1991 Chevrolet Silverado south on Missouri Route 7 when he struck the rear of a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Austin, who lost control and flipped his vehicle.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts, Austin refused medical treatment, Williams was transported by Golden Valley Ambulance District to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton. 

Jamestown man hurt in Moniteau accident

Jeffrey M. Johnson, 50, of Jamestown, sustained minor injuries at 5:19 p.m. Thursday in a Moniteau county accident.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Johnson was driving north on Missouri Route 179 in a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado when he traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert, a tree, and a fence.

It is unknown if he was wearing a seat belt, he was transported by Mid-Mo Ambulance District to University Hospital in Columbia.
