Sept. 28
7:35 a.m.: Charles Shane Spellmeyer, 54, of Green Ridge, was arrested after a traffic stop for improper registration plates near West 10th Street and South Harrison Avenue. It was discovered Spellmeyer had a revoked driving status and was arrested and the plates were seized. A request for a charge of felony driving while revoked has been submitted to the prosecutor.
Oct. 1
1246 a.m.: Jose Leon Gonzalez, 39, of the 1400 block of East 12th Street, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to West 16th Street and South Moniteau Avenue to assist with a traffic stop. Gonzalez was intoxicated and was transported to the police department and issued a uniform traffic ticket for driving while intoxicated. He was released to a sober driver.
Oct. 3
9:45 p.m. Julio Chub Che, 31, of the 900 block of East 14th Street, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to East 10th Street and South Marvin Avenue in reference to a hit and run subject fleeing on foot. Che was located on Montgomery Avenue and East 14th Street and was detained. He was intoxicated and was transported to the police department then the Pettis County Jail. Jail staff performed a search of his property and a bag of methamphetamine was located in his wallet. Charges of DWI alcohol, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and possession of a dangerous drug have been submitted to the prosecutor.
