This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Arrests

June 1

8:02 p.m.: Kendrick D. Jones, 32, of the 200 block of South Stewart Avenue, was arrested for driving while intoxicated after being observed speeding at West Broadway Boulevard and South Limit Avenue. He was issued a uniform traffic ticket and released to a sober driver.

11:03 p.m.: Michelle Lee Wansing, 50, of the 1600 block of Ninth Street, was arrested after a vehicle stop near East Sixth Street and South Emmett Avenue for a non-working brake light. It was determined Wansing was intoxicated and was also required to have an ignition interlock system, which was not in the vehicle. She was transported to the police department, then the Pettis County Jail and booked for felony driving while intoxicated and failure to comply with an interlock system.

June 2

7:16 p.m.: Amber Felicia Gregg, 35, of the 2100 block of Elm Hills Boulevard, was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for several violations. The vehicle attempted to pull into an address that they did not live at in the 2700 block of Clinton Road prior to law enforcement activating their red and blue lights. Gregg had a revoked driver's license and provided another person's identity to avoid arrest. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold for driving with a suspended license and identity theft.

June 4

12:23 a.m.: Andrew Travis Jones, 45, of the 1400 block of Prospect Avenue, was arrested after an officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of South Prospect Avenue in reference to a disturbance. Jones had fled on foot but was found attempting to hide in a bush in the neighbor's yard. The victim said Jones had pushed her down and broken multiple items in the house. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending charges of fourth-degree domestic assault.

June 2

1:52 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to a business in the 3400 block of East Broadway Boulevard regarding a theft report. The manager said an employee had been stealing cash from the store amounting to $1268.87.

6:01 p.m.: Officers responded to a business in the 3200 block of West Broadway Boulevard in reference to a hit-and-run accident. The reporting party stated her vehicle was hit in the parking lot while she was inside. The suspect left without leaving information.

8:48 p.m.: Officers responded to the Sedalia Police Department to take a report on a civil matter from the 1500 block of East Sixth Street.

9:58 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of East 12th Street in reference to a theft. The caller said an individual had agreed to give her a ride but left with more than $1,000 of her property still in the vehicle and refused to return it. No arrests have been made.

June 3

8:40 a.m.: A female came into the SPD lobby to report she was being harassed at work. She stated a man had come into her workplace multiple times and followed her, trying to talk to her. A report was completed.

12:27 p.m.: An officer responded to the 1600 block of South Montgomery Avenue in reference to a hit-and-run accident. The property owner explained a shed behind his residence was seemingly struck by a vehicle.

5:06 p.m.: An officer responded to the 900 block of West Seventh Street to investigate a reported dog bite. The victim had a minor open wound, no medical treatment was requested and the owner of the dog was identified. A report is being submitted to Animal Control.

5:16 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of South Sneed Avenue in reference to a civil issue. An individual's girlfriend overdosed while in possession of his dog. The dog was left at the house, where she was transported from to the hospital. The homeowner gave the dog away to a stranger and the individual wished to pursue theft charges.

June 4

5:49 a.m.: A man from the 200 block of West 11th Street entered the police department to report his scooter was stolen from his house.

10:20 a.m.: Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of East Broadway Boulevard and South New York Avenue in reference to a three-vehicle collision with injuries. A northbound 2006 Nissan Sentra on New York Avenue had failed to yield to traffic on Broadway Boulevard and collided with a westbound 2010 Toyota Tundra. The Toyota lost control and rolled over twice, striking a MoDOT road sign and coming to rest on the north side of the roadway. After striking the Toyota, the Nissan was then struck by a westbound 2012 Ford Escape. The drivers of the Nissan Sentra and Toyota Tundra were treated at Bothwell Regional Health Center for their injuries. The driver of the Ford Escape reported minor injury and left with a family member.

2:05 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of West 10th Street in reference to a theft report. The victim’s vehicle has been stolen. It was entered into the system as stolen.

6:56 p.m.: A victim came to the police department lobby in reference to a fraud report. He was scammed online, no suspects have been identified.

Arrests

June 1

10:44 p.m.: Roger D. Turner, 40, of Fortuna, was arrested in Morgan County for driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Morgan County Jail and placed on a 12-hour hold.

June 3

1:36 a.m.: Gabrielle M. Glenn, 28, of Kansas City, was arrested in Saline County for driving while intoxicated. She was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.

10:34 a.m.: Tyrone Jordan, 44, of Kansas City, Kansas, was arrested in Moniteau County for a felony warrant from Kansas City, driving with a revoked driver's license, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and failure to register a motor vehicle. He was transported to the Moniteau County Jail.

4:03 p.m.: Leonard I. Constantin, 30, of Romania, was arrested in Saline County for no valid operator’s license and forgery. He was transported to the Saline County Jail and released.

June 4

12:23 a.m.: Jesus Ubaldo Quetzecua, 27, of Sedalia, was arrested in Pettis County for felony driving while intoxicated, driving with a revoked driver's license, and failure to stop at the stop line. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail and released.

4:12 p.m.: Mark A. Mills, 37, of Warsaw, was arrested in Benton County for felony driving while intoxicated. He was transported to the Benton County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold.
