This list is a sampling of crime in Sedalia and the surrounding area. Information is taken from official police reports, which do not necessarily contain statements from all parties involved in each case.

Nov. 9

7:24 a.m.: Officers responded to the 5100 block of Pelham Drive for the report of a catalytic converter being stolen from a vehicle in the parking lot.

8:20 a.m.: Officers responded to the 2300 block of West Main Street for a report of a theft. The complainant reported two catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles at the address.

12:56 p.m.: A handgun was surrendered to the Sedalia Police Department during the course of another investigation and was secured in evidence for safekeeping.

6:41 p.m.: Officers responded to a business in the 1200 block of East Third Street for a report of a bomb threat. The threat was made to the business over the phone. Through the initial investigation, the threat appeared to be unfounded. Minutes later, a similar threat was made to another Sedalia business by the same subject which was also determined to be unfounded. The incident was being investigated as terror threats at the time of the report.
