Nov. 24

2:48 a.m.: Cody Christian Paxton, 29, of the 900 block of East Boonville Street, was arrested after a vehicle stop near South Limit Avenue and East Broadway Boulevard for a headlight out and signs of impairment including stopping for a green light. It was determined the driver was intoxicated by drugs, and during a search of the car after a positive alert by K9 Cav, a meth crystal was located in the car. The driver was taken to the Pettis County Jail where he was found to be concealing marijuana. He was placed on a 24-hour hold pending state charges of possession of meth, introduction of a controlled substance into a jail facility, driving while intoxicated - drugs, and possession of marijuana.

Nov. 23

6:07 a.m.: Deputies responded to U.S. Highway 50 and Buckeye Road for an accident involving a deer.

Arrests

Nov. 24

4:51 p.m. Alicia J. Eldred, 23, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated, lane violation and no insurance.

8:44 p.m.: Megan M. Schroeder, 35, of Montrose, was arrested in Henry County for driving while intoxicated.
