Arrests

Sept. 1

10:49 a.m.: Heather Marie Reed, 40, of Warsaw, was arrested after a traffic stop near the 3100 block of Broadway Boulevard for improper registration. She was arrested for having no driver's license, and a search found paraphernalia, marijuana, methamphetamine, and items used for the distribution of methamphetamine. Reed was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24-hour hold pending state charges of drug violation possession of a dangerous drug, distributing a controlled substance to a minor, no driver's license, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. 

Incidents

Sept. 1

2:08 p.m.: An officer took a report in the SPD lobby regarding a missing juvenile. Foul play is not suspected and the juvenile was entered as missing. 

8:56 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to Walmart, 3201 W. Broadway Blvd., for a hit-and-run accident. The suspect is unknown at this time. 

10:53 p.m.: An officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Third Street and Missouri Avenue for a license plate light malfunction. The driver and passenger were found in possession of contraband, which was seized for destruction.

11:28 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of East Ninth Street in reference to a burglary report. The victim said on Aug. 26 someone entered her home, stole Ambien, lawn decorations, and damaged other decorations.

Arrests

Sept. 1

9:27 a.m.: Ciana M. Pierce, 24, of Kansas City, Missouri, was arrested in Johnson County for driving while intoxicated - drugs, possession of marijuana 10 grams or less, speeding, and no seat belt. She was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department and released.
