Mr. and Mrs. Don Thompson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 10 with an open house hosted by their children.
Connie Pritchard and Don Thompson were married June 8, 1968, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by Father William Miller. The couple will renew their vows at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Mrs. Thompson is retired from Smithton School. Mr. Thompson is retired from Alcan Cable.
The couple have three children, John Thompson, of Dallas, Texas, Sheri Thompson-Rogers, of Denver, Colorado, and Jacki Hall, of Olathe, Kansas; and six grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend the celebration at the Knights of Columbus Hall, South U.S. Highway 65. The couple request no gifts.
