Lilyan “June” Barnes will observe her 96th birthday June 2.
She was born May 2, 1926, in Gentry.
Before retiring, Lilyan was an LPN and she enjoyed needlepoint with yarn and was a seamstress.
She has two children, Terry Barnes, of Columbia, and Sherry Vuagniaux, of Sedalia.
