James and Mary Elizabeth (Farris) DeMotte will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 22.
They have two children, a daughter, Sheryl Lynn Lazenby, and her husband, Wes, and a son, Robert Earl DeMotte, and his wife, Jeri, all of La Monte.
They have four grandchildren, Bryant Wesley Lazenby of Sedalia, Blaire Elizabeth Riley, and her husband, Jacob, of Cole Camp, Clayton Spencer DeMotte of La Monte, and Vada Michal DeMotte, of Emma.
