Dave and Linda Johnson, of Sedalia, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 25 at Hopewell Baptist Church, 17948 Highway EE. The event is hosted by their son and grandchildren.
Linda June Ramey and Dave Johnson were married June 16, 1973, at Emmett Avenue Baptist Church in Sedalia by the Rev. Richard Harmon.
Mr. Johnson is retired from Hayes Wheels and Inter-State Studios. Mrs. Johnson is a bookkeeper for Ramey Construction in Sedalia.
The couple has one son, Jerod Johnson, of Sedalia, and three grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to the celebration. The couple requests no gifts.
